A project that I began working on over the summer (while in Arizona, California, Washington, and wherever) was to revitalize the website for Thunder Chess Academy. The chess academy is online and headquartered in Ohio. The summertime provided a great opportunity to revamp the website– the academy wasn’t able to run summer classes due to a lack of sign-ups and available coaches. However, I was traveling the country with my girlfriend. Good things happen at bad times.
I am still working on improving the website’s overall design and SEO. Bits of the site have changed since I last edited them, though. A few weeks ago, Thunder Chess Academy was on the first page of results for a “chess academy” Google search.
Now, the fall session is accepting sign-ups. I’ll update with the edits I make to the website.
